The Week 10 Leaderboard:
| 1st | Karen & Carlos |
| 2nd | Balvinder & Julian |
| 3rd | George & Alexis |
| 4th | Amber & Nikita |
| 5th | Lewis & Katya |
| 6th | Alex & Johannes |
I suppose a week of liabilities calls for an equally unsteady leaderboard. I’m thrilled to see a concerted effort to save Balvinder – heck of a lot of people throwing all 5 votes at her this time. And over all, it was a good episode for her. The Jive was… more stationary than I imagined a jive could ever be, but the Boil in a Bag Paso Doble? A pleasant surprise that I think may have shown people it’s worth tossing her a vote. Whereas Alex seemed to just be begging for the sweet release of death after dancing half a cha cha cha and then hobbling off down the glittery corridor to prepare for the Rumba. A marked 35% fall in overall votes for her between this week and the last and I would have expected her to only gain support from the floating La Voix voters.
I think both Karen and George are safe as houses – Karen’s Couple’s Choice is catnip for votes and George is George except he has a big coat now. The two ringers is where it gets curious! Nikita going absolutely insane in the Instant Dance Challenge can only be a good thing for votes and this was Amber’s best turnout to date. Whereas Lewis got a little lost in the mix getting the odd 1 or 2 votes from people, usually given as 4th and 5th votes showing he may be a bit of an afterthought this week to the larger potential storylines at play.
I do think this might be Alex’s week to go, she seems to want it to be and for that, I thank her for potentially being Balvinder’s meal ticket to being Bottom Two Goddess Supreme. Divas have to support divas.

I am Team Karen all the way now (while still mourning Vicky). I love Alex enough that I am now ready to let her go (as she so desperately wants to). Nikita seems to be BIGGER and LOUDER than ever – it is like he has decided to double his personality to compensate for his partner seemingly not having one (or not one that the show is willing to tell us about, beyond a hypothermic nan). Lewis is… Lewis – I’m trying so hard not to be the “well, he’s a trained dancer yanno” person, but although he is technically fabulous a lot of the time, it mostly leaves me cold – it’s the lack of a j-o-u-r-n-e-y, I guess. George is growing on me, week by week. And Balvinder isn’t usually my favourite but I did enjoy her “ah, I will get another chance to do it better in the dance off” line.
